Probably been a couple weeks since I've been busy at work. I've got a visit with my psychiatrist this afternoon. There has been a streak of probably a weak with anxiety but my meds will probably stay the same. I hate to take another pill(see my profile) to combat anxiety. It may be caused by depression too.

Anyone want to chat feel free to post.

I checked out your med list- I think mine
is just as long. I usually take at least
11 pills/day. Dislike it immensely; but
dislike the consequences of being unstable even more!! I usually get anxious with depression, too. Do what it
takes to get out of that rut! I'm sure the effects of the pill are work having less anxiety.

I've been on so many different meds and my doctor just changed my doses. It's completely frustrating. I hate the side effects and I HATE that it takes four to six weeks to even know if they work. If not, you've put in that time and it's back to square one. Hope your appointment went okay.

My manic phases manifest as debilitating anxiety and not the usual symptoms of mania. I'm down to 5 different meds at night and one in the morning.

Hopefully getting back into my old routine will help with the anxiety. The old routine helps me cope because it gets me away from work. I used to walk every morning and sometimes in the afternoon. Well a friend has been sick for a couple of weeks so the morning walk has fallen by the wasteside. I'm going to resume it on a regular basis rather than wait until the stress goes through the roof.

My white blood count needs to be monitored because of one of the drugs I'm taking, it may be Equetro, a different version of Tegrotol. The normal range is 5 - 13(I think). Last time it was 4.5 and it is now 5.1 so that is good.

Does anyone else take Equetro and have their WBC tested regularly?

They also ran glucose but I don't know why.

God Bless you poor people in here and i'm coming from a place of one who has been in your shoes and doesn't ever want to go back. please try meditating, changing your beliefs, being quiet, giving up junk food, tv and media, and getting in touch. i do it every day. i have to. but i do it cause it works and the more i do it the easier it gets. there is so little actual support for us. love and hugs. check out sites on spirituality. let God in. i eventually had to give up working at a regular job but today i'm worth that. i'm glad you are noticing that it might just be that your rutine has been different. that could be all it is. Bless all you responders in here. relax, you are loved.
