I can't say that I have any gender-related issues for no obvious reason but the topic is really interesting.

I would imagine that trust issues with your sisters and mother have to have some reason behind it since you've had many interactions with them. Now, the female checkout girl is different.

What does your hate for them feel like?

I trust most people unless they prove otherwise. I have always got on better with guys because I grew up with guys & also the Army had a lot of guys. It's just the bitchiness that goes with lasses I can't stand.

Well, I think the word is "obvious"...there's probably a reason, you just can't remember it.

I have problems with female friendships partly because my sister resented me like crazy, still does, and my mom made me her therapist when I was like 10. Not horrible abuse, mind you, but enough to make me shy away from having close frienships much with women. The minute they get "therapy" ish i want to flee. And I always attract those needy types. Your upbringing does influence you for life, often.

Ps I must say this post headline was a little disappointing. I thought this was going to be a hypersexuality post- damn!

Oh and one more thing about trust- i think that women who are not 'empowered' (in that therapy-speak talk) or who are just plain b*tches, can be very nasty in an underanded, manipulative way. They don't go for what they want in an up-front way, they do it manipulatively.

But only certain types of women are like this, so I think you should really look into your past and see why you get such strong feelings, even towards strangers. That will limit you in life.

I have trust issue with women myself, but not this strongly. In therapy we talked about it and for me it is because I was betrayed by a lot of women in my past. Including members of my family. Is it possible that this is the case for you as well?

I used to be "one of the guys" in High School, jobs, even bars - I thought women were gossiping, viciousness, not to be trusted - ALL , no idea where...

But when I removed those, unreasonable thoughts, with NO merit - I am not, socially heavy with women, and few men!

It sounds as if its limiting opportunities and people, that might add go shit! LOL over half the population!!!!

zsa said it best about manipulation and such, usually men arent that manipulative they just tell you to fuck off and be done with it. women can be such backstabbers.

i am at liberty to dislike anyone regardless of religious preference, sex, age, or race.. equal opportunity hater..

counselling may be helpful if you are seeking to dislike one type of group..
