Those two things, meds and CBT, saved my life at that time. The hospital I went to wasn’t something I would have known about, like something like that existed, unless someone told me about it.
But if it weren’t for the meds the CBT never would have worked. So, I think that’s #1.
Huge point score for relatability ---> a friend of mine knocked on my door this morning with delicious cupcakes. How awesome is that? I thought it was the postman and asked if i needed to sign for something. She said yes and I said "is it certified mail," and she said yes. I got nervous, real nervous. I'm worried I'm going to be sued, so I'm not signing any certified mail green cards - oh no. LoL. I was really worried (there's a back story to that). Anyway, cupcake therapy got me through the first half of the day. I feel better than yesterday, and its probably because nothing pissed me off. My rage meter is on high which I believe is a sign of mania - most anyone would be angry with what's going on in my life. The being sued deal is related to my gaslighting HOA. Geez. They've brought me so much stress. If I can get repairs made at my home that they caused, I'm putting my place up for sale and moving out. I got a home loan and need to keep my s--t together so I keep my job which I need to get the money from the loan to buy a new house. I've not needed to change my medication in a long time. Yoga used to fix so much yet my living room is not usable since there's water damage. Part of me wants to blame ALL outside stressors, yet I'd be in denial if I thought that nothing else is going on. I'm somewhat scared to talk to my psychiatrist again. I'm going to semi-chew her out, and then ask her what she thinks might help. I'm coming up short. Dont think I need an antipsychotic --> anyone here think that makes sense ? Already take an antidepressant so fooling with that seems dumb because I'm probably easily irritated because I've set off my mania even though I'm exhausted and just want to be a vegetable in bed. Today was really pretty good.
