dont know if its lithium or what but i keep finding my self in a daze like blank and staring into space im taking 1000mg at moment. went too local supermarket and stood at the checkout inn a complete daze is this a norm bp sympton or could it be the lithium was also on clopixol 25mg and was weaned off been off that now 6weeks just want to know why im getting these blank deep staring into space moments?

Sounds like something to talk to your doctor about. Meds affect different people in different ways, what is a high does for one is a low dose for another. I've never heard of blanking out being a trait of BP.

I don't take Lithium, but I go through the blank and dazed kind of thing, from time to time. With me, it seems to come on right at the beginning of a depression. It's happened to me on all sorts of meds, so I blame the BP.
I hope it goes away soon for you!!! (((((Hugs)))))

I think it's totally Lithium. I was taking 900mg, and I was in a daze. I felt like I was on too much allergy meds. I felt like my head was so thick, yes, in a daze. I couldn't have a sharp thought. You may want to talk to your dr. and see if they could get you by with a lower dose. I went down to 600mg and that doesn't feel right to me either. Like it's either too low or too high...so frustrating!!!!
But I know the feeling you are talking about, as soon as I went down a bit on the dose, it went away. Take care!

got med reveiw tuesday so i bring it up i asked last oct if they would consider lower dose but he said not yet. that was last year really got to sort it working now and being in a daze is no good. have found when keep busy tho its not bad. things like standing waiting at checkouts and waiting for a pump fuel station or sitting waiting i go in to a trance.

I've never had that happen because of Lithium.
I've had it happen just because I was in that state though.

I got that way, took Lithium for about 14 years, one day, I was driving down the highway, the highway patrol pulled me over, long story short, I went to the ER and they tested me, my toxicology report came back, they almost had to do dialysis, I nearly died, My liver enzymes were 7 times higher than the normal levels. after a year off Lithium, my liver tox is still above the normal level. Lithium, my stable able drug turned on me and nearly killed me. Could be you are having a reaction. God Bless, Michael
