to be a guy John Mayer......Hubby complained that every time he shuts my pc down at night it's staring him in the face. A subtle clue that I took as him wanting me to take it down. Now, it's not like I am ever gonna hook up with the guy.....He's a Star.....I think my hubby is being overly sensitive and too paranoid. Do I have a justified opinion or no?

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

I've come to the conclusion, it's not really a matter of absolute parity in these things, if I know it's going to upset someone then I wouldn't do it even though in my opinion it wouldn't bother me if it was reversed. Equally if I have a particular sensitivity around something, I would hope they would be equally careful.
Personally I would hate to live that way with such a jealous person. The only reason I'm not is we ran into that issue early in our marriage, but the shoes were on the other foot.
I used to "Play Oprah". If she had a topic on about whatever, I would ask Jay those questions again. No, I don't do that anymore.
Back when I did I asked him what super star he was attracted to. He said Selma Hyack. I didn't even know who she was at the time but he gave me more than just a quick description. He went on and on about why he liked her. I later found out her body is perfect and recently showed she has a heart of gold. Back then I just decided to hate both of them.
She had a commercial with makeup where part of her line was "no more clumps". I used to walk around our townhouse at the time saying "no more clumps" everytime I ran into my husband.
I then realized I wasn't mad at either one of them. It was just the first time I recognized that he WILL continue to notice cute or in her case beautiful women. I will also continue to notice men, but it doesn't mean the world is tearing apart. He still loves me and I love him it's just human to still notice other people over time. The key is to not act on attraction if it happeneds to be a real life person. Stars-ha ha no chance with them anyway.
Now days we are cool with mentioning someone attractive-well I will. I think that Selma drama affected him for life. He still won't mention anyone physically attractive to me and it has been over 13years.
So I can't give advice, just the story of how my husband and I got over the "Star Attraction" and "General Person Attraction".
Good luck figuring how to handle yours,
Flower
