Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
His behavior isn't a reflection on you though. He should apologize and vow never to do that again. If it bothers you and obviously it does then he should make amends, not just lip service but amending his behavior.
I'm sorry he has hurt you. I'd be hurt if I caught my s.o. carrying on online too.

I told my husband if he ever cheated on me, I would shit on his chest in his sleep. Lol!
But yes, it is cheating, since cheating is defined as a betrayal of trust. I am sorry that this happened to you, and I hope the two of you can work on the issues that led him to do this. Good Luck.
Honey, I am sorry this has happened for you. I know it must hurt terribly and you have the right to feel all the emotions that you do. However, you can take this either way and let it devour you and put a wedge between you and your husband or you can use it as a learning/teaching tool. Once you cool off, sit down and talk to him about it. Be prepared that you may not like what you hear but it is probably necessary to resolve the issue.
Sometimes people just get caught up in this. It isnt even that they set out to do it, I know I did not. Once caught up, it can be like a drug and continue to entice.....work through this with him and try to hear him with an open mind. Make it about him when listening and try to understand where he is coming from. Then share how you feel, how it made you feel to find out. He needs to know that.
You are worthy, and wonderful, and lovable and I doubt that it had to do with you at all but what was going on inside of him. Just as we hope others will forgive us for our wrongs, mistakes, mishaps, we need to forgive them and keep an open heart and mind.
I will be thinking of you......you are in my heart....xoxo
I was in the most serious relationship of my life. It was rocky, and I wasn't treated in the best manner. It got to the point that I pretty much gave up and walked away. After a month or two, she got me to sit down and talk. She told me all these things she had changed in her life. Everything looked so much better, and I decided to give her a second chance. She changed to the complete opposite. She was more than I could ever ask anyone to be. It was great. It was amazing. It was everything I always wanted.
The thing is earlier in all the mess, I had cybersex with a girl. I was a mess and handled it the wrong way. Looking back, I'm not sure how it happened the second time (which was after we got back together), but it did. Of course, she found out. Being that I had done it once before, it was the end. She had sobered up, started getting psychiatric help, changed the circle she ran in, stopped being selfish, and finally began to sacrifice. I threw all that away by a seemingly meaningless act. To me, it was impuslive (which now I seem to think maybe was my bipolar), wreckless, and inconsiderate. To her, it was a break of trust. I was totally wrapped up in temporary satisfaction that I lost the love of my life. Now she's getting married next month to another man.
Will I ever defy someone's trust like that again? No. That's all I can say. Hope my story helps.
Talk is talk.
