My pdoc has bumped me up to 500mg of Lamictal. I have heard some really bad stories about withdrawals. I'm going to have to come off of it someday and I'm really worried about it. Any advice? Or shared experiences....

I went off from 300 mg and experienced hypomania, ended up going back on since the drug itself was not bad for me. Never heard of real bad side effects coming off it before.

I'm on 250 mg.. Why are you going to have to come off of it if it works well for you?

I'm honestly not sure that it is working anymore. I have been on 400mg for 10yrs. I tried to come off once and my life spun out of control. On it again, but I'm really struggling with mania. So they raised it. Now I want to cry all the time and have suicidal thoughts. I'm so tired of being BP. I think I'm still in denial.
