Do you guys ever get irrationally angry. You know that it is irrational but you cant calm down. I hate it. I set up to start seeing a therapist. I set two appointments up with two different people. I canceled the one because it costed to much and i liked the other lady better. So, im all set to see "other lady" today. She texts me she has a leak and we have to reschedule. It just sucks cause i canceled with other girl for her and i know she obviously doesnt know this and she had good reason to cancel. Im just irritated with the whole situation. So, what kind of things have you guys gotten irrationally angry about? How did you end up calming down?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Maybe some exercise would help... Take a nice walk.... journal how you're feeling or perhaps a nice warm bath
It's good that you're aware of it... It's important not to take it out on other people that's where relationships can break down
When I'm angry, more times than not the other person I'm angry with is oblivious to my feelings, going on about their merry way...So who does the anger hurt?

To me though, that's a somewhat rational reaction. Maybe not the situation, but the feeling of being let down. It's rational. The trick is shaking it off.
Getting calm is not something I can do when I'm really upset. Getting a grip on things is something I need to do every day and not just when it all becomes too much....How? I take a few moments to quiet down and meditate. (((hugs))) None of this is easy :)
