I was given some very sad news today that we've lost our dear Irishwriter... She has become a good friend to many on here over the years and she will be sadly missed... My you rest in peace Geraldine... xo

She passed in her sleep it looks like ..no trauma no note ....no nothing .....she was amazing women ...so creative....beautiful...we met here ....and ohh God what 15 yrs later ...I will miss her dearly .

So sad to hear, Jan! I met her in about 2009, and we became good friends, too! I'm so surprised. I knew she was suffering physically (won't even talk about mentally!) it was something we used to share. But I didn't even consider this happening.

Well, she is in a better place now! Thanks for letting us know!
