Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I was suicidal literally every single day until my doctor put me on monthly Invega Sustenna (meaning sustained, it's a long-acting injection) shots. I didn't want to live at all, and now, it's very rare that I get suicidal thoughts. I thought Suboxone was my "Miracle drug/Wonderdrug", but it turned out that for me, that wonderdrug was Invega. It's basically a very strong metabolite of Risperidone/Risperdal. I beliiiiiiiiiiiieve it is 9-hydroxyrisperidone, so yea, a very potent Risperdal derivative.
So I would strongly recommend Invega Sustenna if you have suicidal thoughts daily. I'm poor af and I still receive my injections, because I go to a sliding-scale clinic and I provided them with my Medicaid Denial Letter, which is what you'll need to get it if you're uninsured. Don't let being uninsured stop you from receiving the help that you need.
Who has experience with daily suicidal thoughts?
And who has experience with Risperidone (Risperdal) and/or Invega or Invega Sustenna injections?

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

As for Suboxone, that's not a drug that would ever be RX'd for Bipolar Disorder, its used for Narcotics Addiction.
