Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Hello there, everyone! I just joined the group. I am bipolar (among many other things - fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue...the list goes on and on and on...lol). I also have a Bipolar, ADHD Teen-age Daughter!!!!! And you thought YOUR like was stressful. When the PT guys asked if I was experiencing any stress...I'm like ummmmmm....at this particular moment in time or in general...cause hon we are going to be here AWHILE if stress needs to be taken under consideration. All in all though I've learned to live "with" my bipolar and not against it. I've learned my triggers - and my daughter's - and I have found a way to navigate through. I've had to give up a lot of pre-conceptions about what my life SHOULD be like and accept it for what it is...ALOT of that has come from trying to help my daughter and from Fibro - believe it or not! Having to live with the physical pain every day and having to REALLY.SLOW.DOWN has helped me learn to be more in the moment which in-turn helped me learn to be more in-tune with me. Any way now that you think I'm all ZEN...give me awhile and you'll see that I'm just as whacky as the next person!!!

Mom and I have errands to run this morning. She said we can get sushi for lunch though. I go back to work today. What are you looking forward to this weekend?

Quick, before the evil MONday gets here! Let's climb those mountains, dance in the meadows, dip our feet in the ocean....Okay, so most of us won't be doing any of That. Sadly. But today can still be a great day!The area behind our back fence is on an incline, with less than two feet on even ground at the top. I don't balance well enough for the incline, but our mower guy mows that...
