i had a rough session with my therapist today. She said if I didn’t willingly agree to go to the hospital she would have to calll the police. So I had my sister come take me and we are waiting to be seen. I would appreciate prayers and good thoughts.

I am so sorry for what you have been going through. My mom and I used to have the same type of problems. She knew I was suffering from depression, but she really didn't know how to help, and in a lot of ways made it worse. But I had to remember 2 very important things that I hope help you. 1) people, even our parents, are not perfect. Because of this, they WILL disappoint, even hurt us, from time to time. Not because they want to, but because they honestly cannot help it. And to be fair, we have to learn to be ok with that sometimes and accept their limitations. Just they way I was not good at communicating my feelings, neither was my mother. So although she wanted to, we both had to accept the fact that she really could not help me. Which leads me to the next thing I had to remember. 2) Where my mother lacked, my Heavenly Father picks up. She didn't always have the right words for me, but I know that He does. When I am feeling bad, I read this scripture and imagine Him talking to me personally. Isaiah 41:10 - "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you. I will hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness." Never forget that you have another parent that is there for you, that loves you, and that has words of comfort readily available for you. This, along with talking to your therapist and getting the help other health professionals can give you really can help you to be ok. Please know you are in my prayers. Just know we are all in this fight together!
