I was put on Lamictal and it cost a fortune ...something like $500.00. BUT...they have a Patient Assistance Program and I was able to get it for free. Look them up and you can call and they'll send you the paperwork.

I'm on Lamictal and I'm on medical so it doesn't cost me anything. That medication has saved my life.

I apply for med assistance and got declined. In my county they have another options for people who still can't afford insurance from thier work or from health care marketplace, that I am applying for. It can in some case cover 100% of the care. So, Hoping for that. I apply for short term disability from my works insurance company liberty mutual, so theres that and put in the request. The meds cost about 69.09 generic from the walmart pharmacy. I printed out a coupon for 72% off and the med. drug card and got them for $19.09. So I am happy I can afford that and I wont have to stop taking them because of the cost like last time.

Thank you guys. I would like more information on people expereinces with this medication. I am hoping this helps with the aneixty too or at least gets me to a point where once I am stable with this, we can get to that, as the doctor said.

I will have to see into a patient assistance program but I feel the generic with this discount with these coupon that don't ever expire ( I printed out alot, in case I forget the website) should be good. I would not want to take resource away from people who trully need it when I can handle 20 bucks.

Thanks MayB. I just noticed that on the side bar that 79% use this drug. So I am hoping. I don't feel anything difference yet but I am just starting so it takes time, I am on 25 mg still. I feel tired today, this being my 2nd day but that could be because I had a busy day sunday with my mom and sister visit and we went out to breakfast and got chocolates, and then my appointment yesterday and being stressed out cause of it.
