I finished my undergraduate studies in architecture school last may , and now I'm looking for work but it seems that the 3.3 GPA of mine is not enough ! I applied at a prestigious university as a teacher's assistant and they rejected me right away based on my GPA ( which is a "very good" in here)
I feel like I'm going to have to pay the price of being bipolar for the rest of my life.
I'm so scared to enter the work force , I was accepted yesterday at another "not so prestigious" university. I'm unbelievably scared to go to work.I don't know what to do.
I want to try freelancing on fiverr ,but my skills needs refinement first.
I'll give in a shot in a month or two.
Thanks for reading :)

You may recall I write that my sister and he husband were in an affair with my brothers wife. It's been almost a year. Mom last week asked me to invite my sisters boys to a birthday at my house for my brothers daughter. I was on my way to pick up the boys when my mom called and told me to turn around. Apparently my brother didn't know my nephews were coming and he was livid. I came home to a...

My academic career took a tumble and I'm pretty sure it was a mix of choosing the wrong subject (I didn't understand how much maths was involved) and probably the onset of bipolar.
That meant my degree wasn't so good after being seen as being top of my class previously. That meant I could do the PhD I wanted and then have the career I planned.
But overall I think actually it's turned out for the better. Having seen the research environment it seems very enclosed. I probably make more money and have more variety than I would have done at a university.
So I guess I'm saying is that sometimes life does compensate. Good luck.
Build your skills and build your network of friends and professional associates. That's how you find jobs. You are worthy keep going forward!
No doubt, there is a big difference between being a student and being an employee so being apprehensive is completely understandable. Just because a university is considered "prestigious" does not guarantee it's a good work environment. You've got a great opportunity to begin working and also work on the freelance stuff on the side. I don't believe your life is ruined in any way. I hope you truly don't either.
Give yourself big time credit for you great GPA and the very fact you ARE doing something to have a great life for yourself.
The only way you can screw up in life is if you stop trying. BEST OF LUCK!!
