Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I love my job. I truly do. I don’t really like the other sides I work with. My last two shifts I worked with a pair of girls, C and K. Part of our job is to wash, dry, food, and put away table linens after every meal, set up the dining room for the next meal. The “float” is supposed to take a snack tray up to each floor at seven o’clock and to take them back to the kitchen at 8 o’clock. Also the float is supposed to clean the activity room, which consists of wiping off tables and counters, and taking the coffee pot back to the kitchen. All three nights I worked with these two girls I single handedly set up the dining room, washed, dryed, folded, put away the linens. And cleaned the activity room. The first night I just assumed the other two weee busy. We have to answer calls from residents, give showers and what all. The second night I was fairly annoyed. Tonight there were FOUR aides and I still did all of the work. I get the same calls as the other girls. I know when a resident pages them, I know how long it takes till they get to the residents room, I know when and how long it takes to give residents a shower. I was taking the linens downstairs and getting snack trays simultaneously and when I got to the second floor, two of the girls were just sitting watching tv. That really ticked me off. So I asked the nurse in that floor if she noticed the two girls sitting around a bit and I explained what was happening. The nurse offered to say something to the higher ups but I don’t want to stir up trouble. And I’m really bad at confrontation. The nurse suggested I ask the girls to help me next time. But why should I have to ask them to do their job. So do I now go to my boss and say something? Or do I wait till I work with them again and see what happens?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
I have been in so many workplaces and sometimes it takes extra effort to establish trust with coworkers before teamwork happens...
It would be annoying..... Big hug....xo
Start there and don't put a lot of emotional heat on it....deep breath and go on from there.
