When I think of gay music I think of Team Dresch, The Pansies, Bitch and Animal.. some old Ani I guess. Plus tons of hot sexxoring dance music. Man, I really am getting old.

one night at the Saloon (local gay dance bar) they played this killer re-mix of depeche mode with abba' "take a chance on me" - pure Gay! i'm sure it was followed by Whitney Houston...

there was a great queercore band from portland, OR called "third sex" - they were AWESUM!

yeah, i agree about SK, & L7 really - i see them as before queercore - kinda like how the Stooges & MC5 were to say the Ramones.

& yes, i got to see the Third Sex - BUT, i saw them here in Minneapolis, not on either of the coasts (unless you count the coast of the Mississippi River).

yeah - as i recall the show kicked ass - especially their set. they were on the bill with 2 other bands - one they were touring with, the other local. they were awesome - their sound was remarkably given the venue, too. anyway, i remember them in part cause i picke dup some swag from them afterwards - still got the sticker on my guitar case!

one of them was wearing really tall silver boots, too. they were hot!
