My new meds seem to be working, and my mood has been the best it has been in years. However, I know there are many, many people suffering amongst us right now, some in crisis. You are NOT alone, and the painful footprints you might be walking in now have also been travelled by your peers on DS. Our personal circumstances and experiences might be specific to our situations, but we all know how excruciatingly painful it is to cope and function when you have to navigate through everyday life with BD. We are all beautiful, and we all have value - 2 things that I often refuse to accept about myself. My brother used to play this song for me when I was younger, and it has a message, I think, a lot of people on DS, particularly those that are hurting, need to hear and be reminded of. That is what we are here for - to reflect back to our peers the value that they might not realize they have.
