Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

It has been one of those really bad days. It is almost midnight and all I want to do is cry myself to sleep. Hubby is on a trip, my phone is waterlogged so I can't text or call him for support and my well of patience with our kids has run dry. I don't know what to do anymore. I feel like I am failing at everything and I can't get my head above water right now.

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
So sorry. Sometimes when it rains, it pours... just keep swimming (finding Nemo)
Your head is above water. Been there...
((( hugs))).
Tomorrow is a new day, try to get some rest...
Prayers... there ARE people who care...
I appreciate your prayers. Please keep them coming. If I can just make it 'til Sunday night my hubby will be back, the proms and the wedding will be pages in a scrapbook and I will be able to truly take a deep breath and relax. Maybe then the rest of it won't seem so bad.
Don't know about swimming, but I will try treading water.
Thanks again.

p you a line. just a hug for the right occasion. the more you give the more you get.
Wishing you peace and comfort ASAP!!!
Perhaps you could load SKYPE on your computer and you can talk to and see him for free...x
Invite a lady friend/fellow military wife over and have a movie night; that might help.
Telling people about my bp takes a lot more courage than I have most days, and even with all of the information out there, there is alot of misinformation as well. I still feel like a pariah sometimes. Does anyone else deal with this?
Even in my master's classes I finally had to "come out" today to a certain extent, admitting I have a disability and accommodations to help me. My classes are online and I can turn in some things late, but then no one responds because they are late. So I sent out a request that some people go back and reply so I know if I am getting stuff right or not. I have not gotten any replies, which makes me very nervous because I feel like I really put myself out there, ya know?
So, doing better and so happy to have people here who care. If you know of a crisis line for Illinois, I would love to have the info just in case.
Thanks to all who have read and replied. You are lifelines to me in this raging storm.
