Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I so wish I could get away for a couple of days. I have an exam in a little over a week that I am completely unprepared for, and I do not have the finances. Also, I think my anxiety is so bad that I would just sit and be stressed about not getting anything done. Thanks for the good idea though! I'm all about getting good ideas!
I want to fart
I want to drink
I want to shag.
Deep Breath!!!
1) Are you registered with disability services at your school? If not, register with them ASAP. They will guide you appropriately.
2) See if you can drop a course or two, this way you are not giving up, but lightening your load a bit.
3) Go talk to your pdoc and therapist and tell them about what you are experiencing. A good listening ear, always helps.
If you do these things, chances are good you will make it until the end of the semester. You are still early into your semester at this point.
Hugs
Oh boy, I've got to take that advice myself. I'm completely fried; work and a who knows what's going to happen romance have sunk me into the blues. I'm taking next week off from work, but really want to call in sick tomorrow.
I also think that you'll benefit from taking a day. One day. Do whatever you want, but not school. Afterwards, you'll be a refreshed person who is ready to get through that test and the next few weeks until the Thanksgiving break. Good luck!
I am going to take tomorrow off and intentionally not stress about not being able to concentrate. Maybe, as you guys have suggested, it will make me feel better.
Thanks for the love and support. I'm failing at life right now and it means a lot that you guys take the time to reply.
