Pillow-cases are scary though

We only got two lots of little kids and they were dressed so I gave them some sweets and I didn't vomit on them no matter what Pluck says!

give them an egg, just squish it as i have my hand in the bag now i know what i'm doing next year !!!

We get them too.. I always go man, that better be a costume otherwise you shouldn't be out in public like that :)

I don't care who comes to the door. Candy for all!!!
My mother gets raw chicken feet and if she feels a trick or treater is too old, that's what they get.
Which is really kind of cool!!! They're really creepy looking!!! (The chicken feet, not the kids.)

If they are kids in my neighborhood that I know, I dont mind, heck we even give candy to the parents bringing the little ones around. I just see it as a fun holiday for all. I buy enough candy that I would rather give it to them than eat it myself. And just maybe it is keeping them from doing something more mischievious. What does bother me sometimes is when carloads of teens come into the neighborhood from other places and act all crazy running past the little ones and practically knocking them down. Then, those teens dont get anything from me.

We get that problem too. They seem to bus them in from our inner-city.

I hate them especially if they don't even say the official Trick or Treat phrase!...I mean, c'mon, do you think they're gonna go far with "So, whatcha got?" Infuriating!!! Agggggggh....

They usually take the candy and run off. I'll yell "Thank You" to their parents in the hopes that in the very least they can instill some politeness in their kids.

Well, I love kids up to the eigth grade trick or treating as long as they are in costume or the older teenagers if they are bringing a younger sibling Then I think they are totally awsome helping mom or dad out... so I keep a few BIG BARS on hand for the bigger NICE kids and little packets for the younger ones. I give hot cocoa or cider to my kids friends who know me and stay at my house over night regularly as well as the parents.

This year my youngest was complemented on how polite and sweet he was and actually saying trick or treat. The younger ones are always my favorites.

Now, I don't do this however being I live in Hick Ville NH there are houses that give Nips and or spiked cider to the adults.

I was shocked the first year I lived here and my husband told me he was offered alcohol at nearly every house.

The FD gives out goody bags and they have a parade. ts a nice small town in that respect.

Next Year A and S won't get to go out they will be back to the scavenger hunt and you know I am not sure about the youngest as he will be 7 then. I wish he would rather stay and do just our family party.
