Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Ok, as I was just diagnosed bipolar two weeks ago after being diagnosed 14 years ago with major depression, I'm still getting used to my diagnosis. New psych doc who actually listened to what I was saying. But anyways, I'm in a hypomania phase atm, and I'm enjoying it. Can I keep it, please? It feels better to be able to laugh than my normal numbness I have felt my entire adult life.
I'm a divorced mother of two sons who are currently attending college. I actually graduated college myself many years ago but could never use my degree. I live with my two cats who love me and are my lifelines. I would not be able to survive without my cats.

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
