wow just ramdonly disideing u need a med chagen thats balls ie..I take contral of my mental health with my g.p and anytime i see a p-doc(the kind that give you meds i am the same) My g.p is the one who sends me to the p-doc for meds cuz last time my weening off didnt go so well. But I know cuz i have seen my docter get back my writen report from the p-doc i went to for the second oppion and I know he'll get one with this med chagen too but also after im weened off completly and on sumthing new he'll he in contral completly so I think he should read exatly the reasons she disides im on what. and Im asking more questions about the meds them selfs when she says what she wants me to have..I want to no why?what is it(kinda of anti depressant,stablizer,whatever) so I know..I will be more derected she is a female i will feel more confable then my g.p who is a male..I have phyisical prombles cuz of my meds(high blood pressure i think thats frum stress only reason we could think of)
and brith contral ..i wish my docter would only handle my physcial things but p-docs arent easy to find here

Bi polar is an extremely complex illness and I think it would be advisable for you to see a psychiatrist or even a psychopharmacologist to give you your meds, if you have a hospital near you with a psych ward maybe they have an outpatient clinic that you could go to. You could also contact the nearest branch of NAMI
National Alliance for the Mentally Ill. NAMI.org they may be able to steer you to the appropriate doc.

wonder how meme is haven't seen her posting for ages

my gp was trying different meds with me until I went searching for a pdoc. i'm sure if given enough time my gp would have found the perfect med for me but i was inpatient and went searching for answers. now i wish i could just leave my gp do all my care because it is going to cost me more to see my pdoc.
