I have to get my taxes in order. I will get a good refund but I can't get motivated to do the important stuff. I want to do the fun stuff building models and playing on the computer but my finances are messed up until the 21st and I am blah and just want to do fun stuff.

anyone else stuck in a rut. or want to do my taxes for me?

It is kinda important to get the taxes done. It took me a while to get into it, but first I get all my papers together then clean a spot on a flat surface to work. I get an extra copy of all forms to use as a worksheet and go to it putting in numbers and checking what I do. I always get a refund and that's nice because I can spend it on fun stuff. You can do it!

I've got a CPA because I got SSD arrears an have to itemize but I have to get all the damn receipts togeather for him to calculate it is going to be a big fat file. and hours of searching for receipts. I wish it was as easy as H&R Block

AARRGGGHHH..I'm trying to get enrolled in Medicare ,and it all has to be done by April 1st!

Taxes...go to your Pharmacy,get a printout of your RX costs for the year,they can get it to you in just a few minutes...sit down and figure your round trip milage to your Dr's appointments..how much did you pay in car registration..that's a good start on some deductions!
Get going..I know..I hate it too!!!

I'd offer to do them for you but I am Canadian and don't know your tax laws. Since my head injury last weekend, working with numbers wouldn't be in your favour. You would probably end of owing the government money. Relax for a while and have some fun. When are taxes due in the U.S.?

ith the basics my CPA is sure he can get me a good refund. I use all kinds of electronic bill tracking like a computer GPS that records my mileage to doc and volenteer to the boyscouts there are just so many deductions I have to get them all to geather in one place so He can review them I wish I could just fib and 1040EZ but I have to do them for real this time. I have tons of different deductions on over $100k in one time income this year. But I have given so much away and spent the rest on medical supplies and charities and medical so I know I will get cash back it is just a matter of how much according to my deductions.
