You may recall I write that my sister and he husband were in an affair with my brothers wife. It's been almost a year. Mom last week asked me to invite my sisters boys to a birthday at my house for my brothers daughter. I was on my way to pick up the boys when my mom called and told me to turn around. Apparently my brother didn't know my nephews were coming and he was livid. I came home to a...

Get to know the person you might not want a second date....if you are still together in a few months and the intimacy is really going to trust that's a good time to bring it up and easy does it!
I made a decision many years ago to never tell the man I loved that something mentally was gravely wrong with me. I wasn't diagnosed then but knew I was suffering. I did that to protect him and myself from serious rejection. He came back around a few years later, when I was out of control and not managing. I was able to hide it since he lived far away and only visited one weekend. But I wouldn't let myself get too close and I lost him. I lost him because I couldn't tell him, because I knew I couldn't fake it for long. Life has come full circle now and I know him again...the first thing I did was to tell him the truth. He accepted me anyways. But now that I have had a year of knowing him again, still at a distance, I realize that when I pushed him away all those years ago..he went on without me. So now even though he forgives me and accepts me he seems to be sitting on the fence or somewhat leary about fully trusting me again.
I would tell your date at some point. Lasting relationships must be built on integrity and honesty in my opinion.
In the mean time enjoy the dance of getting to know someone I say!!
