Hello I'm curious as to how long does the manic episode last once it shows up? I know there may not be an average but I would like to know if you can recall how long a manic episode lasts.

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
no seriously Manic about 3 days Neutral about 2 days Depression about 2 days. I can stay manic a little longer if I play with my meds.
It changes if you are on meds.
Unmedicated a few days minimum to several months.
Unless you were also naked, bouncing a basketball at 100 times/minute, surfing other websites and scarfing shots of sugar at the same time you were writing it. Then, yes, that may be mania.
Your profile says you're 33...when I was your age I had calmed down "some" from my 20s but my Hypomanias could still last a year or more, with short bursts of "mania" in the middle or toward the end...they might last a few weeks at Most. And if I was a Good girl and didn't leave shrapnel Everywhere, I would just go back to "normal", then back up to hypomania again until the Entire cycle ended.
At this point of my life the actual "manias" only last 2 -10 days at Most - and, *whew* that's Good, because I am getting Old, and they are Exhausting! lol
Just out of curiosity, 3 days later, how is it Going for you?
