I want to complete a little project I'm working on.
If all works out I'd like to try and get a graphic novel I'm working on published. But before I even try to get it published I want to make sure to finish the story first.
But I'm worried that this is another project that will get dumped as soon as I hit a down. I'm not sure if I will pick it back up or if I will just start a new story on the next up swing.
I really want to complete my lifes work (har har if you could call it that) but I fear that it's just a pipe dream.
So how do you stay on task and stick to a commitment?

Being held accountable is what helps me. For instance, I am held accountable with my course work. Not doing it leads to failure. So Find something that makes you accountable to your dreams, I suggest. I don't know. Hope that helped.

Maybe making deadlines for yourself for different things as you go will help

Hi Door, I hope you are not manic or even hypomanic...I agree with what twilight said, have a diary and make a schedule of when you want things completed by. This will help you stay on track. Be realistic about what you want done and when and make your goals as realistic as possible.

That is so difficult for me. I hope you find something that works for you.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
