I struggle with house cleaning so much and when it's dirty it really bothers me yet I just don't have the energy to keep up with it on a regular basis.
It feels like I have something hanging over my head and I'm always embarrassed of it when people pop in. They know what my house keeping skills are like and some of them don't care but I care.
Well I got about half the house clean. The other half is still pretty bad but now I need a break and I don't know if I will get back up later. Usually my break is it. I'd finish it but I just can't keep going right now.
I know I should be proud to have even got that much done but I'm the type that wants it complete.
So how clean is your house? And do you struggle with cleaning? Do you feel it is the bi polar?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

my house ebbs and flows really. moderately clean to clean. i just mopped the floor. if the house looks bad, i get down so i try to stay on top of it as much as i can..
my bedroom tho, is a different story. it is either spotless and nice or looks like a bomb went off in it. i keep that door closed.
I do feel that it is connected to bipolar since the condition of my home seems to reflect my mood.
I did just turn on the dishwasher though.
Now I'm the complete opposite. I can barely make a list.
Yesterday I cleaned the toilet and mopped the floor but not the sink or tub. Why can't I do the whole thing?
Most people would describe my house as cluttered. I have too much stuff for the number of people that live here and for the room we have.
It is an ongoing battle anymore.
Be proud of yourself for getting some of it done...that's a good thing :)
After I was sick I was unable to physically function and I suffered some aftermath that still lingers. I can not focus and get distracted easily. When I am manic like I have been for quite awhile I am doing much better. Just need to make it upstairs soon.
I think you just do the best you can and if that means just the toilet and floor. Good for you.
NOT
Actually , mt house is very presentable , except for the piles of magazines and books and old mail ...all my sisters stuff, so I don't feel I have the right to go in and mess with her stuff.
Other than that...pretty presentable
I fight with myself constantly about the housework unless I'm basically on top of everything and only need to clean (not tidy up) 3 rooms/day.
Sometimes I'm astonished at how quickly the job can be done. It's just the first 5 minutes that are the worst.
Ok ... I'd better run. I need to vacuum. :)
translation: everything is stuffed into drawers and closets, the illusion of clean
Im a cleaner for sure.. can't stand a mess.. sort of OCD about it..x
Just don't open the cabinets or look under the beds ;)
