Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

and so I have BP-like extremes and Schizoid qualities too. I think people without illness have to manage too - they just don't have as extreme circumstances as we do. Everyone feels highs and lows.
Some folks feel splintered or fragmented at times too. I am glad that I have found a medicinal regimen that has helped me. That and my routine are big factors for keeping manage. Not perfect. I don't know what that is. :)
1 is the worst you have ever felt 10 the best...
Everyday you check in and give yourself a number....
It helped me get a clue on when I should pay attention to sudden mood changes....
I think of normal or abnormal as a range or continuum, not a state of being. So in that case we're all "normal" or "abnormal" some of the time.
Man should not play God.
When we are down, we are not Supposed to feel so down. When we are up, we are not Supposed to be that 'up'. That's because Any majority will take the stand that they are the Right, and everyone Else needs to measure up to Their norms and expectations. (Conforming experiences - really?)
Please be yourself! Please do not be afraid to feel what You feel; take a good Look at how you are feeling. Sit down and have tea with your feelings Every time you feel them, and ask yourself, "Is this feeling benefiting me? Is it helping me to feel good about myself and life? Is it comforting me, giving me strength, doing Anything that is healthy for me or my loved ones?"
If it is, then will you keep it around? No matter how 'unconventional' the feeling, does it provide a positive benefit? :)
Dobiedots expressed how I feel about it - I don't have a Clue about what Others actually feel, or don't feel, every day, and I have spent time in my life envying them, trying to emulate them, or just being miserable that I Couldn't be them. Didn't get anywhere with that, though.
I am Me. You are You! And every day we get to Watch our feelings, our thoughtts and our actions; we get to Learn about them, and see what We can do to tune them up to where WE think we need to be,, to be the best people We can be. :) Not by the standards of others, but by the standards that we set Forth for ourselves.
...Which means the Sky Is The Limit, rappcitee - really. Just 'our way'.
