I had a nice little 6 week hypomania that resulted in a new bunch of sex toys and 3 credit cards over the limit. My house is really clean but all the walls have patches of different colors as I couldn't decide what colors to paint them..... then it degenerated into really rapid cycling between mixed states and I'm not sure what... add to that the panic and escalating PTSD. My therapist suggested a hospital stay but I declined.... I was supposed to see my pdoc last week but she cancelled... I won't see her until next week. I am not suicidal but did buy a new exacto knife and am designing body art. Dissociating bad. I don't know what to do... during my short rational moments I know I need more help than I have at the moment but then it passes and I am happily floating through nothing or panic ridden and hysterical. I don't know what to do.

1st of all, Take a moment to breathe! Okay, after you do that, take a moment and scream, once you do that, breathe again. Than sit down, pick up the phone, and call your doc, and make an appointment asap! You should not have to suffer like this darling. Hang int here, and know we are rooting for you, and we are here, Loving you, and supporting you. Hang in there Divine. *hugs*

Mental illness sucks, You know you need help but can't think it through clearly, even to the point of being able to make a phone call. And the hospital is scary. I've been where you are with no access to doctors or therapists. You got 'em - use 'em.

Please pick up your phone and make a call to your pdoc or nearest hospital. You shouldn't have to suffer like that. Please take a minute and think it through and you will probably see that the hospital might be your best choice right now. (((HUGS))) and I'm praying for you.

In my experience I never accepted the offer of a hospital stay but rode it until I was hospitalized anyway. By all means talk to your doc or go to the ER. There are better ways to learn...

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
