Tried to scare you. I hear that works with hiccups.
And with respect to the lamictal, I don't remember ever having hiccups. I have had hiccups, and honestly don't remember if it became more prominent when I started taking lamictal. I don't think it did,
A sure fire, easily repeatable temporary cure - hold your breathe 10 seconds, drink water 10 seconds, hold your breath 10 seconds. Do not breathe in between the holding and drinking parts.
Trust me, it works better than a scare. But repeat if necessary. Hic! Repeat if necessary. Hic! Repeat if necessary. Hic! Repeat if necessary. Hic! Repeat if necessary. Hic! Repeat if necessary.
I've never tried that one. I have to the next time.
If we're talking solutions, one that ALWAYS works for me is drinking water upside down. I saw it in a comic strip once and in my crazy ways tried it and it really does work!
You bend over and hold the cup of water and drink it while bending over. It sounds ridiculous I know, but it works for me! But I know different things work for different people.
