My name's Ash and I'm 23 years old. I was recently diagnosed with bipolar 2 disorder back in the beginning of October but I didn't start on meds until December due to complications with my doctor information. I was admitted into the Johnson Unit which is the psych ward here and that's where I was diagnosed. When I was discharged they gave me the outpatient doctor info except for they messed up and gave me the impatient doctor which is why it took so long to get meds. Anyways I'm pretty new to this and it would be nice to have someone to talk to. I'm feeling pretty fine at the moment but honestly I can't tell if my meds kicked in (I'm on lamictal and just moved up to 150mg on Wednesday of last week) or if it's just a hypomanic state. I'm not even sure what qualifies as a hypomanic state to be honest. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.
