I am a massage therapist and have always done a lot of direct care work. I really love it. I think that it also may directly help me as a B.P. Helping others helps me not think of me so much.. or something. SOrry I am tired and am not saying exsactly what I am trying to get across.
Do you get me anyway?:)

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I also used to be a Crisis Line Operator. For me, helping others keeps me away from stirring in my own crap. But, also, it reminds me of how far I've come. And, sometimes I forget certain things until someone mentions it.
I try to help whenever I can here. You'd think I'd know something after being diagnosed 16 years. Alas, this BP still kicks my ass from time to time. But, at least I have 8 years of taking my meds religiously!! :) Yay me! LOL
I think you have to set yrself a perimeter, a limit otherwise it can overstretch or sap too much. It's good to know that I was asked to help out.
Bad that the communication was left to be so stale in the first place.
