I am feeling very unstable. My mood keeps going up and down. This past week has been a terrible week. I lost yet another job on Monday after only eight hours and I think they were going to try and stiff me on my pay. Then I was dx'd with pneumonia on Monday night at the ER.
*On Wednesday, all I did was cry and was depressed.
* And tonight I also feel VERY agitated, irritable and anxious.
*Noises are really bothering me. I WANT TO SCREAM.
my sleep and meds got all messed up when I went to the ER, because I was there pretty much all night and everything so I am feeling awful. . I left a message for my pdoc and she hasn't responded. Could the sleep interruption and missing meds for one night cause all this instability???
I think I may purge my apartment tonight and tomorrow. I feel awful

Hey All...I hope that you have a lovely, peaceful beginning of your weekI have a bunch of chores that need doing but may put them off til tomorrow and just hang out with my landlord/roomie todayWhat about you?...Anything special going on?Have a great day and take good care of you!!..Xo

Sleep disruption, even for 1 night or more CAN cause serious problems ...PLUS you are sick and probably taking anti-bactrial for your pneumonia , which can cause you to feel really poorly
Keep trying to reach your Pdoc

You've experienced a lot this week so I'd be surprised if you didn't feel unstable and off!
When I feel this way, my best strategies are distraction and mindfulness. If by "purge my apartment" you mean thoroughly clean, that's just the kind of thing I do to distract myself. Two rules -- it has to be physical and it has to be productive.
The mindfulness involves meditation, guided imagery or yoga for relaxation. Or maybe pamper overload with a soothing bath, scented candles, my fav singer serenading me.
I've never called my pdoc if I've felt off. What usually happens? Change of meds? Talk therapy? How long does it take to experience a difference with a med change? I always figured it would take several weeks before noticeable improvement.
I would stay away from any caffeine due to anxiety... Perhaps have a nice full hot back and a cup of herbal tea.... soft music and remind yourself that you will be okay sweetie... You will get through this... Gentle hug of calm and healing....xo
