Help please Prozac side effects

Hi everyone. I have been on Prozac 20mg daily for a few moonths. I am also on Seroquel. Last week my pdoc raised my Seroquel to 400mg and my Prozac to 30 mg. After two days I started feeling funny after taking my Prozac in the morning. It makes me tremble and feel wobbly ( that's the best way I can describe it). I almost feel dizzy but I am not. Anyway this feeling lasts all day until I take my Seroquel at night.
Is this normal? Is it something that will go away if I continue on this treatment? I have tried taking it with and without eating. Any other suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like your reaction could be because of the increase in your Prozac, your Seroquel, or because both were increased at once. Tremors are a listed side effect for Prozac but not listed for Seroqel. Side effects can disappear after a week or two, sometimes they don't go away though. Have you tried taking your Prozac at night time with your Seroquel? Maybe that would allow you time to sleep off the side effects.

I had prozac many years ago & it sent me into a crazed animal.Later on I was dx'd with bp so it says it all. It sounds like you are having side-effects from meds. If they don't go away I would seek medical advice.

I'm super sensitive to Prozac. I started at 10mg. It rather kicked my depression's ass and I really felt it right from the start. We raised it cautiously, gradually to 20mg. Just a little brief hypomania and tremors. But I calmed down nicely after a couple of days or maybe a week at the most.

pdoc said I could increase to 30mg after months on the 20mg. I immediately had insane road rage and mania. I was shaking, raging, sweating and racing in every sense of the word. Just one dose of 30mg did that to me!! Scawy indeed!

I'm back to 20mg. My depression is better controlled now with exercise, light therapy, vitamin D and fish oil. I would be happy to get off it, but I'm afraid of the major depression crashing back so I'm on hold with it.
