I need to take meds and my stomach is in knots and doesn't know when to quit. I have to eat with my meds because I take geodon and absolutely nothing is appetizing not even toast or eggs.
I just don't know what to do. I had soup today because my throat took a relapse and became real sore and I was cold with the chills and the soup that I loved turned my stomach the thought of meds just didn't sound right. The only thing that even sounds appealing that I could beg my husband to get after he gets done with his shift Mc Donald's is not serving right now. I had their broccoli and cheese soup a couple of days ago and it didn't turn my stomach. I am besides myself with what to do. I can't just take my meds without food because they work better according to the pharmacist and food just isn't an option right now. I have been sipping gingerale all night long and still my stomach is in knots. HELP Can someone give me some suggestions?
Thanks

you probbly don't need anything gassy right now it could stay as trapped wind and make you feel even sicker so what about plain youghurt not the fruit kind or cereals with no sugar or chocolate coating like rice crispies or plain crackers with a little warm milk and honey did you know warm milk is a food group or plain crisps l looked after a little boy who was on chemo and thats all he ate...
vickybea
lf you decide on plain yoghurt try stiring honey into it for your throat or eating greek youghurt for a nicer gentle flavour

maybe I could beg the hubby to buy some store bought broccoli and cheese. That's a thought.

lf you can eat heavier food do it you'll get over your bug quicker so beg away but don't forget the warm milk if you really can't eat a thing its better than starving

I think vicky has the right idea. I'd recommend having just a few crackers with your meds until you can figure out what's going on. I'd suspect a relation to stress.

eat mints after you've eaten to settle your tummy it should help
