So I haven't brushed my hair-which is down to my waist- in over a month. I am still bathing and brushing my teeth, but I just can't get myself to do anything with my hair except put it into a ponytail right after I take a shower. I know this is a sign I am depressed but I just don't give a rats hiney...
I have other things to worry about right now...do others struggle with things like this? Is this trivial or something I should work on...does it really matter in the grand scheme of things?

Everyday I feel more and more sick. Being in pain every day, I've learned to disguise it. So well that others don't believe my pain when I speak of it. Needing help but only receiving negative responses, I find my way but pay for it later. I absolutely need the rest but there's pressing things to be done.

Ugh my depression is really being triggered by the grief of losing my mom. Ugh it sucks. I wish this pain would leave me already.

The fact that you haven't combed your hair in over a month may say more about you having long hair than the state of your depression. Maybe you're just tired of it.
Long hair is a lot of work and a big commitment. Why not snip it off and donate it to Locks for Love? Wigs for cancer patients can be made and you'll get a makeover. Win-win!!
sometimes i just wear the same pj's days on end
but you are still bathing and you are still brushing your teeth. perhaps your hair is too long to manage when you feel this way, would it be out of the question to cut it to a manageable length?
sometimes a change in hair can be cathartic and encourage a change in self perhaps ?
i hope you manage to get it under control before you've got dreadlocks lol x
i'm like you, lionne...the same pajamas for several days...
my legs look like a black forest.
too damn tired and sick..don't give a shit right now.
I have gone 6 days without washing it when depressed and 3 or 4 days very often w/o a shower if I am depressed.
I am a fanatic about oral hygiene normally. Even that suffers when I am depressed. But I don't eat either, if it is that bad, so maybe it balances out.
