Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I have been diagnoised with bipolar for about a year now, but have been dealing with it my whole life. On or off meds I still can't shake this feeling of hating the world and the people in it. My question is if anyone has delt with this how do you live in a world you despice? Ive tried putting some good into the world with animals and other things; however it comes back to people. As a whole I feel we are seperating from each other and no one has time for anyone anymore. We would rather sit on our phones and laptops then to deal with real issues in life.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
Volunteering and helping those who deal with issues similar to mine help me, but I'm not a big "people person" and I know what groups I can tolerate and what to stay away from, for my own stability.
You can't force the World to do what you want it to, all you can do is be the best you can be and contribute your best to it.
Yup, I've dealt with hate upon hate upon hate. I've gotten some relief from my work with animals and environmental issues, but as long as I am hating on the human species, I keep getting slapped that I remain one of those self-centered, destructive, egotistical creatures I so avidly hate. Hatred of the human species keeps coming back to self-hatred, even self-loathing.
Wishing I had easy answers for both of us, These days I am giving self-love and self-forgiveness a try. Might be working. . . Some days I can even admit my judgments of how other people are living are not too clear through my hate lenses. Alas, I'd still rather not be one of you stinky humans, but. . . Sigh. . . Works in progress.
Gentle support while you sort what ^it^ is for you. Welcome aboard.
I feel better than these people and in a way I am because I was raised in a way better neighborhood – most of these people around me come from a real bad part of town and they're not educated and they have no self-awareness whatsoever.
But I am anxious to change myself if possible and become less judgmental and less irritable and more accepting.
You're right about the separating thing - that's what is going on in this day and age.
Anger is a secondary emotion so something causes it..... Pain, fear or frustration... Try to identify the root cause and find ways to deal with it in ways that can benefit you
Mindfulness/meditation might be a good tool for you..... Animals bring a lot into my life as well..... Big hug.....xo
