When it comes to "angst" music I've got it covered. Elliott Smith, Cowboy Junkies, Joy Division, the Smiths... If I want to sit and cry I've got the musical selections to accompany my dark moods. Recently I have actually been feeling better. Lighter and more hopeful. So I need some music recommendations that might reflect that better than what I currently have in my exisitng collection. What music makes you feel better? Any participation in this thread is much appreciated.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
Another step down if Disco is still quite too happy is anything by Fleetwood Mac. Lyrics heavy yet beautiful, but the angst is chilled to something more akin to reflection, unless you're listening to "Tusk." Then the angst turns into a little something else... hahaha
I'm Puerto Rican, and Spanish music never lets me down as far as salsa, reggaeton, and merengue are concerned. Disney music is for people looking to be happy and that has never ceased to bring a playful grin to my face.
