It wasn't nearly as hot then; I stayed in the WalMart parking lot some because they Allowed it, and sometimes pulled into a dark corner in an empty Church parking lot, because it wasn't a big city and we Could do that...though it wouldn't have worked if I were caught.
Thing is, at the time I was Frightened by the thought of staying in a shelter with the "homeless people"; I didn't consider myself to be in the Same Fix - which was silly, because of Course I was. I was showering at the truck stop at the edge of town every few days, paying about $7 each time...I got a waitressing job before too long and then lived in my car in the Parking lot of the restaurant at night, still showering and doing laundry at the truck stop.
I was Not addressing my issues, heretic. I was still in "survival" mode - NOT "get better and get Stable" mode. And you will have to Get there, kind of a rock bottom, before you do something Drastic with your pdoc or the shelter or Someone....
I LOVE you, from way over here, and I Know you will survive this; all the same, it's just Frightening and Unstable and I Know it. I've Lived it.
I'm praying for you, hoping you will be Strong and that Good things will happen without your even Having to beat down doors to get them.

Keep as safe and well as possible.
If you search on "homeless in las vegas" a woman says she slept in a hospital parking lot and some other places she recommends.
