Today I am starting a new life. A new state, new house, new job... new everything. My previous life had 50 days in the ICU or mental hospital, ERs, ambulances, and seven surgeries. The former life was filled with darkness, rage, suicide attempts, doctors galore and a career cut short by my body. I have so looked forward to closing the door and opening a new one.
A new Spencer starts today.

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

So alone and becoming depressed.
Will get out today.
I really think that when you have the support of a Therapist who cares about you and your well being, its going to change your life and how you feel about things. So don't give up hope and don't fall into the negative okay. This is just the very beginning. Fear is normal, it's all new, and it's a lot of new, but you can do this.
Try to get out and enjoy yourself a bit this weekend, do something fun, take your mind off all the worry. When the worry comes back, change the narrative to, "This is a good fresh start, it will be okay, and I will succeed and kick ass!"
Take care Spencer!

I was feeling sorry for myself and lonely yesterday. I depress easily. After everything that happened in 2017-2018, I have lost my self confidence. I act to timidly now, and I don't trust my intelligence. I need to get that confidence back given the folks that I now work with (Spec For).
I am feeling better now as the sun has come up again. Will venture out for some staples and then work this afternoon. My job allows for mobile working and instead of being lonely in the room, I can be working and be lonely.

I work from home sometimes as well, and it can get a little "solitary".
Take care,
