Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I baked a pumpkin pie yesterday and am going to make freshly whipped cream to go with it. It's my first pie. ever.
As it's not even 7am, I'm going to use this 'extra' time to walk my puppy and squeeze in a workout (probably a DVD one) before the craziness of holiday feasting commences.
Have a lovely Thanksgiving - I hope I do the same!
I'm off to see the new pdoc...nervous but glad the appt is finally here... just hope she/he doesn't turn out to be a bloody wanker x
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
Headed to the supermarket for a few last minute items. Just making a quiet dinner for Eric and myself.
Good luck at the p-doc ruby. :) you said wanker...that word cracks me up!
I have some cheesecakes to bake before this afternoons feast. I hope everyone has a good day. :^)
We aren't doing anything until Saturday, when my mom is coming over..
Interesting thing, I am actually a mayflower descendant.. the Tilley Family actually.. but the facinating thing is historically they did not really have what we think of as a Thanksgiving dinner (ok, I am getting all technical and stuff - & nerdy..)
Will be leaving here in a few hours to head to families which is about a 2 hour drive...fun fun
Enjoy the day today!
I hope that you have a wonderful day and everyone else does too!!
Turkey is cooking, mac & cheese is ready for the oven, watching some of the parade and just enjoying the peace and quiet before the family gets here and ruins it for me!! lol jk....I'm so bad!! lol
I watch Martha Steward put a turkey together after stuffing it with cornbread (don't overstuff) celery, broth and onions. She put it in both ends and then held up the back lets with a string or ribbon thing. That flap on the neck that we always wondered what was called is a Stewarts Nose.
Then she used a white cotton sheet, a white t-shirt will do if it is clean, dripping in butter and white wine and laid it on the whole turkey. Then she said to baste frequently. 325 degrees is the main degree but it started in another degree which I have forgotten already. Don't use cotton paint sheets.
