Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Sleep management has become the most important thing to manage in my bipolar journey. I have learned how my body ticks and how poorly I perform, behave, emote, etc when ive gotten no sleep. For that reason, ive had to incorporate an Ambien prn into meds so that I can stop the cycle of insomnia before it becomes hypomania.
Your working hours seem to play a big role. Can you express to a leader that you need a day off between shift changes for manageable management of your sleep? Its good you are devoted to your job but try and remember to speak up and be able to advocate for yourself when conditions require it. Thats a sign of strength.
Hugs.
