Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I have made an appointment with my regular dr tomorrow a.m. I am going to discuss the episode that I had last week. The one where I became very disoriented and incoherent. I still don't remember what happened. I was told tonight that I did and said some very embarrassing and shameful things. I don't remember any of it. I was talking to my friend tonight who is also my prior boss. His daughter was doing my hair when this episode started. She told him that I was being extremely loud and saying stuff that I shouldn't have about his current situation at his work (the place where I was laid off at in Feb of 2015). I am deeply shamed, sad and embarrassed. He said he knew it wasn't "me" but it doesn't take away the humiliation. I also believe that this happened to me back in June of 2015.
I was at work, and I passed out at my desk. My coworker found me slumped over at my desk.
Also, I need to talk to my dr about my extreme shortness of breath. I am having trouble just walking from one room to the other. Walking even a short distance leaves me not being able to breathe. This, too, is making me extremely anxious.
The only GOOD thing is my new job seems to be going really well. I am enjoying it and everyone seems very nice. I am just afraid that my anxiety about these health issues is going to throw me into a bad state and it is going to screw up the first good thing that has happened to me in so long.
Thank you for listening. And for being here for me.

I've been on high dose prednisone for pneumonia, and now I am slowly weaning. But lots of symptoms I don't like having, plus overeating has put at least 10 lbs on me. The food is "loud" as the GLP-1 users refer to it.Also pressured speech. Which comes out in my posts. Sorry I posted so much. I just need an outlet for my agitated and irritable brain. Just scroll on by my posts, if they are too...
