Going Insane.....

Lately for the past few days.....I been hearing the phone ring, and no one was on the other end. I am hallucinating again, and the pdoc won't raise my Geodon. I already called the pdoc and she said that sometimes Geodon does that......I think my pdoc is a bit on the wacky side today. She still wants to believe that I am fine.....I am slowly going insane and it's driving me nuts....what do you all think?

Can you get an opinion from another pdoc..

If it gets to bad I would go to an emergency room and tell them what is going on. Good luck.

I probably could....but I am not sure that they're going to want to raise my geodon either.....my husband told me to ride it out and if it gets any worse to take an extra 60. My pdoc's reasoning for not wanting to raise my meds is because she just raised them when it's actually been a couple months since she's raised them. I take 80 milligrams twice a day, and I still have some 60's lying around from the last time that I was on 60 mg twice a day.

Your profile says you're taking 160 mg of the Geodon. Is that correct? I take 200 mg, and my pdoc says that's where most pdocs like to commonly see patients on Geodon. (???) It works very well for me. No hallucinations or problems of any kind like what you're talking about.

I would talk to another pdoc.

If things progress, I would consider going to the hospital.

Okie girl.....that's what my pdoc told me to do....she told me to let the hospital deal with my bipolar....I think my pdoc is just copping out and doesn't want to have to deal with adjusting my meds.

If everything is ok, no other kind of hallucination, maybe it is something else? I constantly think the phone is ringing..in the other room. Of course if you are in the same room that's different.

It can't be tinitus can it?

    I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

    Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner.  I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings.  But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
