Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Your thread did not piss anyone off, humanity takes a life of it's own - no help needed. :/
I'm sorry to read so many struggles - yes, external/situational triggers can wreak Havoc with us.
I don't have so much to say this morning, except Hang In There - the hand cramps may well be related to the change in Abilify, but not sure, of course....
It is only Natural for you to feel uncomfortable with things atm, but you well know it doesn't stay this way. Hold on tight, dear. :/
I agree with GTTM-that this is natural to feel out of sorts and that you should forgive yourself.
I call what you are going through being "jangly."
just haven't realised the paintings yet
I just went through a small med change in hopes that it would make me less flat. Well, it did the trick, because now I am falling into a depression! I'm definitely not flat anymore! So even the minor med changes can have a big effect. I was told to just hang in there and give it a chance to even itself out. So, I would say the same for you. Maybe the way you feel is a combo of a lot of things going on, meds being one of them. I just hope it settles down soon for you.
Sorry to hear that you are missing your mother. :( I think ekat's idea is a great one and you already have some ideas...so go for it! May be a very healing exercise. Something you could do every year at this time.
I hope the night you're organizing goes well!!! Don't forget!!! You have successful experience in this area!!!!
You're mistaken about your ability to express yourself in writing!!! You do quite well!!! Don't censor yourself!!!
Ah!! Cringing after drinking!!! I've been there!!! Yes, I suppose it's best if you can refrain from drinking anything that makes you bonkers!!!!!
I'm glad you have a vision of what you want to do to remember your mom and your dad. My sympathies on your loss.
I don't know if the med is causing your hand cramps. Dehydration can cause cramps too, so make sure you're drinking plenty of fluids if you aren't already.
Wishing you the best and hoping you're feeling better soon!!! (((((Comforting Hugs)))))
the inner critic is running amok
