Going back to college and CSU.

I'm going to try for inpatient tomorrow because I know I need it. If I get in, I'm going to miss my first few days of classes, so all I can do is email my professors in advance and hope for the best ehhh.

I'm taking basic history and science and Early Childhood Care and Education, which is a three-semester course (trimester really, with summer course counting towards a full credit semester). I should be certified to teach or assist in preschool or daycare by the end of this year.~

That isn't my goal though. It's to go on my eventual psychology resume.

Anyway. Getting admitted tomorrow is my best-case scenario right now but it's a crap shoot. Sounds terribly boring but I need it I'm sure.

Good luck! You'll do fantastically! If you need to go inpatient and miss the first few days, that's okay - if you don't seek treatment when you need it most, you'll regret it more than missing a couple of classes. You can do it!

When I was in college I was able to get an American with Disabilities Act waiver for when I missed classes due to bipolar and being hospitalized. It is very helpful. At least all of my teachers were understanding . Good luck! Hope you feel better soon. I also majored in psychology and took an Early Childhood Psychology course. ... very interesting !- Suzanne

Had same problem also in CSU system I found professors happy to help so much is online today usually you can get a peek at the syllabus. Are you registered with disabled students? They too are really helpful.....

You are doing the right thing by taking care of yourself! I hope it goes smoothly and you get in.....
