My pdoc and I cut back on my abilify. I noticed that it was what I thought was rapid cycling through the day and as I look back on it I was feeling up after I took my abilify in the am and at night. I may look at taking it mid day instead to keep me up all day. As long as I don't get too up.
They say it can lead to mania even though it is supposed to control it I have to admit the highs aren't too bad but this is quickly becoming my favorite drug next to valium

I once had to travel to another country to get it...was backpacking, visiting a friend who's living in Prague & didn't realise you can't get abilify there, so when I ran out I had to go to Germany for a refill. I'm crapping on, that shows my devotion though ;)

I took one abilify last year and it had me walking into walls and throwing up :(

I love the Abilify. I did have anxiety and sleeplessness when I first started taking it, but now it's mostly smooth sailing. I think I am due to an increase in something though because I have hit a depression over the last few days....but overall Abilify has been my wonder drug.

Could this (Abilify) be the reason for my current high? am on 30mg am, but have been for ages. I quit Clozaril recently though, maybe thats it... who knows.... Does Abilify make anyone else really warm, body temp wise?

I wish it was the party drug we're making it sound like :) yes, feel warm..for me, though, it curtails mixed & manic ep's...& severe depressive intrusive thoughts too.
