Hey guys. So, I started geodon for my bipolar and I'm on the lowest 40mg a day. I hear this drug has the least weight gain but I noticed I gained 10 lbs. I don't know if I should blame it on the drug or the fact that I'm also bulimic and once I started the drug it helped me stop purging and actually helped me to not starve myself. I don't know how to feel since I'm becoming obsessive over my weight again and don't know what to blame it on. I don't eat horribly and am fairly active.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

When I was taking medicine, I gained 20+ pounds without changing my diet, much. I can relate in weight gain being an undesirable issue.
Is there any way that you can speak to your specialist in regards to the weight issues which you've been having? He or she may be able to provide suggestions for you, or even switch you another drug.
By the way, I've been on Geodon before, and was told by my former specialist that it is one of the more weight-neutral medicines. Good luck.
