I call her to ne there for me and she acts lil she doesn't want to talk to me. I just wanted to talk to someone. She's never there for me and it makes me sad

It's hard when one or both parents are emotionally detached...or worse...take some twisted form of pleasure from the hardships of their children. Hard is an understatement I know, more so I know how demoralizing it can be.

Have you ever given any thought that perhaps your mother has some serious mental issues of her own that may have come to be accepted as character traits?

Maybe you're a hilarious person? Certainly don't know you, or your mother, to make a call either way.

I truly hope you find someone you can confide in that shows a sincere interest in your well being...and you theirs.

Is there someone else you can talk to? Reaching out, like you have here, is brave. Perhaps a friend you have not seen in awhile? Hang in there.

I was not thinking right about this. Sometimes I don't think right and get confused.

It can be hard for some people to deal with the severity of ones Depression.....they don't know what to say, or they fear saying the wrong thing. Its a difficult thing to deal with....

I'm not taking up for your Aunt, I know its hard when you need someone to talk to and people just don't get it. Some people just can't deal with something like BiPolar.

Have you called your Pdoc about the problems your having? Being in a scary place is, well....scary, maybe something needs adjusting to get you back to a more stable place.

Hugss...I know how you feel and what you go through. I feel like my grandma really dislikes me, never wants to work through things. She belittles and sees me as a child, laughs at so much. Of course she says it's in my head....we fight about it daily. I fear how much I will self loathe when I move back home. It hurts. Praying for you.
