..so we went into one of the local towns, wait for my appointment with the dispensing optician, she pulls the new glasses out and says "oh, the frames are cracked, we'll have to get a new frame". This is after a 3 week wait because the factory made the lenses and then realised they weren't ok either.


So I came back empty handed.


I think the new glasses are cursed and when I finally get the new computer glasses home they'll be haunted. When I look through them I'll see not my Windows 11 PC but an old cobwebbed Commodore Amiga.

Yuck! I just got new glasses myself but they are perfect :) I don't think your new glasses will be haunted lol

Im getting ready for work today. It will hopefully be a full day of training for my new position. Last time I had a training day I kept getting pulled to register because we were busy and someone called off. I cant wait to share my day with you all later tonight!

That sucks about your experience. I recently got two pair of new glasses at America's Best and it was an over all successful experience. I haven't had a new prescription in three years at least and everything now is so crisp and clear. I understand locations can be challenging. I used to live in north Georgia mountains and even Walmart was a day trip. Good luck with the new glasses.
